Africa Inside Out has gone through some major changes over the last 9 months. The ethos of our company is to focus on niche, community and specialised markets which would ensure authentic, unstaged meaningful tourist experiences. Our products are almost ready to be launched.
Our product offering is built around people and the local communities and contribute to Fair Trade in tourism principles, and make a difference at grass routes. Our clients we target are those who are discerning and concerned world travel citizens. In doing so we encourage our suppliers to be part of our "grand and product promise fit". We are now ready to refocus to ensure that we meet the expectations of our clients.
To this end thus we have redeveloped our product descriptions and thus the service the accomodation and experiences offer, and have all our partners in what way they are involved in the community. The reason for this being is, that we would like to focus on Responsible and Sustainable travel and would like to promote accommodation, who can show us their social involvement.
By travelling the responsible way, you will be supporting various projects through southern Africa by giving back to the community, contributing to local conservation or supporting a wild life project. We believe in continuous support so responsible travel will become sustainable travel.
We will not only show you the highlights, but we will take you off the beaten track as well. Not only physically meaning off the beaten track by showing you some of the lesser known routes, but places and experiences as well.
Learn about the biodiversity of the Cape, stack ancient fish traps. Meeting the people not in passing through from a bus window, but interacting with them, listening to their stories and sharing their food in their every day environment. And sharing your stories! Not only close encounters with the penguins and elephants, but meerkats, dolphins as well and tracking spoor of leopards, follow an ox-wagon trail and visiting a Fairtrade wine farm, Rooibos or citrus farm or an amazing cactus maze.
Africa Inside Out is built around the people. We thus ensure that you come away with more than a “cookie cutter” experience of incredible South Africa, but one which has been meaningful and you have left something meaningful behind. We want to give you the best experience you can get both whilst booking your holiday and during your trip and simultaneously, we want to make sure that the local people benefit.
We do not only promise and strive to use local suppliers as much as possible. We ensure that the content of your itinerary that will support communities. We do not believe in “once-off handouts”, continuous, sustainable support, which will ensure a “leg up” and dignity at grass routes. This means that through our tourism experience and thus through you our valued client, we become partners in action actually making that difference to bring dignity, hope and a chance at a better life.
