How to make your resolutions stick
Have your New Year resolutions started to defeat you? Chris Carling, Personal and Business Development Coach suggests ways of making them stick and CBN members share some of their resolutions for 2006.
In Chinese medicine, Water is the Element associated with winter. One reason for the link is that the snows and rains of winter represent a cleansing process in which everything is washed clean and bare, ready for a fresh start. For many of us making New Year resolutions is part of the need we feel to start afresh. Going through a process of metaphorically ‘rinsing through, washing away the debris’ at the turn of the year is important, helping us let go of what we no longer need from the year that’s past, leaving us more able to renew ourselves for the year to come.
