Payment

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept the following credit and debit cards for online transactions: Visa, Mastercard, Eurocard, Visa Debit, Switch, Solo, Delta, JCB. We also accept payment by cheque sent by post with our offline booking and membership forms.

Is it safe to use my credit or debit card?
All online payments are made through WorldPay’s secure server, using state-of-the-art SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption to protect your personal information from unauthorized use. For more information on their commitment to security and fraud prevention please visit the WorldPay website.

What about privacy?
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect about you to process event bookings and membership applications and to improve our site and services. We may also use it to tell you about changes in our services or about special offers we think you'll find valuable. We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. For more details please read our privacy policy.

Do you offer refunds?
Refunds will only be given at the discretion of the Company. Our online payment system has been designed to give you the option at several stages to edit or cancel your order so please make sure the information is correct before completing the payment information. If you believe there has been a problem with payment please contact events or membership.

Can I get a receipt?
CBN is run by a voluntary committee; therefore to reduce administration we do not usually provide receipts for event bookings or memberships.

My Account & Passwords

How do I create an account?
A password will be sent to you shortly after joining which you can use to access the Member services. Members who had joined before the new site was available should receive passwords shortly after launch. If you have not received a password and have a current email address please use our Forgot Password - Automated Reminder. If this does not recognize your email address please contact the website administrator for assistance.

Editing my information
(Available to members only) Once you are logged in, click on the ‘Edit Details’ link in the member area to the left of the page. Be sure to click to ‘Submit’ to save your changes.

Submitting news articles
(Available to members only) Once you are logged in click on the link to ‘Add / Edit Article’ in Member area on left hand side. Complete the form and click ‘Submit’. Your article will be send to our Notice Board database where it will need to be approved by CBN. We try and approve all submissions within 2-3 days. All articles expire after three months and will be removed from the site.
