Shakespeare's hilarious courtly comedy of mistaken identity, lust, cross-dressing and farce it told on the beautiful garden stage of Robinson College. Viola has been shipwrecked in a storm off the coast of Illyria; in the process she has lost her twin brother, Sebastian. She disguises herself as a boy and becomes a page in the service of Orsino, the Duke, who she loves on sight. Try and keep up with the intrigues and comic turns in this masterpiece!
Ticket price includes pink fizz and nibbles. Performance starts at 7.30
Bring blanket/wet weather gear/hat/mossie spray!
Seating policy:
There is limited seating at all outdoor venues and a waterproof covering placed on the lawn, which is also used as a seating area. Please note: purchase of a ticket guarantees admission but does not guarantee a seat.
Wet-weather policy:
Performances will continue in the event of wet weather. If a performance is cancelled then all tickets remain valid for any other performance. If weather conditions are uncertain and you decide not to attend, please retain your ticket, which remains valid for any other performance, even if the performance goes ahead.
