Tea Cake is a traditional tearoom located in a 16th Century thatched cottage next to Dowcra Manor in Shepreth. Shepreth train station is a very short walk or there is on street parking.
We will be have a traditional cream tea with cucumber sandwiches, scones and cake. The menu offers a great selection of teas and coffee, wonderful tea cakes, soup, sandwiches and delicious home-made cakes. There are also some every day provisions such as freshly baked bread, milk and free range eggs to take home with you.

...and trip advisor includes: Visited today with a friend and enjoyed a lovely pot of tea with toasted teacakes. Service was very friendly and there was a good range of teas coffees and cakes. When we left we bought some locally produced organic seeded bread and freshly baked chocolate brownies. Both were excellent and were eaten quickly!! We will return/
This is a new business venture for Chris Prove and we hope she will have a minute from preparing our tea to tell us a bit more about realising her dream.
